And we’re done

Just got my score for step III of the USMLE and passed. Officially done with this god awful and overpriced series of exams. Plus I just wanted an excuse to post the above gif.

About ER Jedi

I’m a resident doctor in Emergency Medicine and I’ve learned during the past few years that 1) I’ve had some pretty amazing experiences 2) I have a very bad short-term memory. So this blog is just a place for me to write about some of these experiences, from the ER, medical school, the wards and life in general. At least that way I’ll have some idea as to where I’ve been all this time. A scrap-book of sorts, a place to vent, organize some clinical tools and post a few good songs I’ve heard along the way.

  1. Congratulations! Perfect video. If only you were done for good. These exams have proved to be a great racket .Hard to otherwise explain the outrageous fees to a captive population. Unfortunately you will next be dealing with specialty certification which currently has to be redone every 10 years with talk of requiring medical license recertification also in the future.Organised medicine seems to have been very passive in the face of these changes .My impression is that people who are active in medical politics are similar to politicians in general with self interest being a prominent consideration .Sounds as if there’s a worthy cause here somewhere.
